Dubuque County Reads brings together readers across the county to engage with important themes through literature. The Seed Keeper follows Rosalie Iron Wing, a Dakota woman reconnecting with her heritage and ancestral stories. Through multiple generations, the novel invites reflection on land, memory, and cultural preservation. This event is part of a larger initiative to promote literacy, foster community dialogue, and encourage respect for diverse perspectives.
